I would guess that you probably have a Type 2 (up to 33,000 lbs displacement), due to the fact that your course computer is a 300; if it was a Type 1, you’d probably have the smaller 100 course computer. I just checked the manual for the 100/300 systems — I love that Raymarine has the older manuals online!
So that would mean that you’d want the more powerful ACU-400 system. It also means that your drive is well oversized for your boat, which should increase its life expectancy. As far as your i70 instruments go, once you switch over the course computer, you can connect everything via SeaTalkNG, replacing the old SeaTalk 1 system. As soon as I can get pricing from my vendor, I’ll let you know costs for the whole mess; and I’ll get you the contact info for the repair guy, as well. — Fred Fred Street -- Minneapolis S/V Oceanis (1979 C&C Landfall 38) -- on the hard in Bayfield, WI :^( On Dec 1, 2013, at 10:48 AM, Fred Hazzard <fredhazz...@spiritone.com> wrote: > Fred: > > With Fury 2000 miles away and the linear drive buried deep in the stern of > the boat, I am not sure how I would get the model number.
