I've had Touche' for 14 years. I've been fighting the navstation top for 14 years. Early on I cut it in half because the outboard edge hit the headliner. When I need something, I lift the top, hold it up with my head, dig around, find what I need and close it.
I was working on a Jenneau 37 the other day and lifted the navstation top. Voila! It had a spring holder to keep it open. Duh! Why hadn't I thought of that for Touche'? I've used them to hold the cockpit lockers open for several years. Poof! Done! Spring holder on the inboard half. Thinking about one for the outboard half now. Amazing how you think you've thought about everything you could do to a boat and then some blatantly obvious thing pops up. Dennis C. Touche' 35-1 #83 Mandeville, LA
