Steve, where did you source the replacement hoses (in Canada)? From what I know you should use only the very specific type (all others permeate the smell in 3-4 months)

Smell is less .. impacting .. when it's cold. But it's harder to get the hoses off. They'll be hard to remove in any case. If I was doing it over again I'de use one of those multi-tools to put a slit in the hose end and replace the fitting if it got damaged. Would save a lot of frustration.
