Congrats on the impending purchase! As you say, it's hard to go wrong at that price...but not impossible! Where in Maine and where are you, Mark? I would seriously consider sailing her home. That will give you a way better idea of what you need to do than the surveyor will. Speaking of which, I have a good friend who is an excellent surveyor in Newport.
