In the photo you can see the through hull's for depth and knot meter. Bilge opening is about 3 - 4" below these through hulls and about 1' aft. Water trickles into the bilge about 8" below the opening which by my estimation is pretty close to the crack. Marina repaired it once my grinding out and re-torqueing.

Where is the actual keel / sump interface in relation to the crack? Looks like a crack in the fiberglass / fairing laid over the keel joint area. If gelcoat was used over the fairing, it is very brittle and subject to cracking. If that is all it is, then no biggie to repair. The real issue is the crack can only be caused by movement of the keel or a hefty shock load such as from a grounding. Neither option is appealing. In any event, best course is to grind out the cracked area for some exploratory surgery. Might want to retorque the keel bolts.
