Peggy, the head mistress, recommends Super Lube grease. I've been using it and 
like it. Unfortunately, to get the full benefit you have to pull the pump 
assembly apart and manually apply it to to plunger, shaft, etc.  Small price to 
pay for several months of quiet operation. 

Next time I might try TefGel.
