When ULSD came to Canada I had concerns and did some research. Some of the info on the Web was contradictory so to be on the safe side I started adding a lubricity enhancer. $20 for a big bottle from NAPA. I sail on a lake and don't use a lot of diesel - 1 tank lasts at least 3 seasons. So I top up the tank when it gets about 1/2 empty giving me 1/2 tank of fresh fuel every 2nd season. I buy white diesel from my local garage as the storage tank is likely cleaner and don't use any additives other than the lubricity additive. I haven't had any seal problems or starting problems since I started doing this about 6 years ago. Sam :-)
