Dennis, A fellow C&C owner near me has the same year boat as mine but my toe rails are faded and his look new. He told me he waxed them to stop the black streaks running down the side of the hull. Wouldn't say what kind of wax, but his looked like they were freshly and professionally painted. The automotive black trim polish might work? I also tried Penetrol but it didn't last long and I got streaks on the hull.
Can you wax over penetrol? Just wipe it on. Improves the looks for 2-4 months. Been tempted to try black shoe polish or one of the automotive "black" trim polishes. Dennis C. I recall that several folks used some sort of liquid, commonly used as a lubricant IIRC, that would enhance the black and make the toe rails shiny for at least a couple of months. I’ve lately decided that I’d like to improve the cosmetics of the toe rails on Imzadi. Can someone refresh my memory on the name of the product recommended, and perhaps point me to a source?
