Andrew, Welcome! Where are you located? I have a 35/3 and love it. It sails well, and leaves most cruisers in its wake. I have a 135 gennie on a roller. In 12-14 knots of wind you can sail upwind at 6 knots or more. At about 18 I put a first reef in the main. By 25 I will take up some of the jib. I singlehand often. My mainsheet is a 6:1 with a cam cleat from Garhauer. I run the line back to the helm so I can trim from there. Winches are nicely sized.
The key is to check the hull and deck for moisture. The windows can be a problem, but they are a manageable expense. The Yanmars are solid if they have been maintained. Feel free to contact me off-line. I'm looking to buy a sailboat in the mid 30' range, and the C&C 35 has caught my interest. What kind of speed does the boat have in light and medium winds up to about 20-25 kts? I assume already that this boat will point very well with a 6'+ keel. How easy is it to single hand the 35? Any advice for a 35-3 buyer? Thanks very much in advance. _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com
