When I was 9 my Dad bought a new 1969 Venture 21 and I was so excited you would think it was Christmas. We couldn't sail worth a damn but it didn't matter (damned dealer did not paint the swing keel when the boat was on the trailer...so beyond our sailing ineptitude we were dragging around a 4 foot barnacle carrier...talk about slow!).
But...43 years later I am still excited about sailing. Is a V-21 a Mac 26? No. Two different animals. But same idea. We all gotta start somewhere. David F.
