Danny,

All the work will be done at New England Boatworks. I'm doing the easy
stuff.leaving the tech stuff to the pros! I've owned the boat for two years
and rebedding hardware has been on the top of the list since day one. I may
as well paint the deck while I have the hardware off.sound logic??

As for bedding sealant, what is the popular consensus.4200 or butyl?

Harry,

Nice work! She is going to be very pretty! How do you intend on painting
her? I heard of a guy over in Somerset, MA that can spray on your finish.
I saw a cat boat he sprayed over at Somerset Marina about 5 years ago. He
did a beautiful job. I never got his name but, you may be able to ask
someone by calling Somerset Marina or Bridges Marine. I know the guy worked
right up the road at a yard. I can't recall the name... Sorry to be so
vague. I never thought to get the guys contact info at the time and I was
only at that Marina for 1/2 a season...

I think if I did as much work as you are doing now, I'd have it sprayed. It
will look brand new!

I must say, I'm a little envious of the amount of work you're getting done!
I'd love to jump into that job on my boat too. I'm gunna piece meal it.
This year I'll get the grab rails done. Last year I did the all the
hardware at the bow. Of course that makes painting a job for WAY in the
future. Pulling recently set hardware sounds painful, both physically and
emotionally...LOL Will you reset with butyl tape? There is a great artcle
on line about resetting hardware and beveling all the holes.

I wish I had read this before I reset my bow hardware...

Mike,

Yes, it's a Northeast 39 built at the Bruckman yard in 1985. There were
only a handful built between 84 and 86 designed by Rob Hall. Sailboats
Northeast in Marblehead, MA marketed the boats at the tail end of the IOR
days. I have seen one at Block Island and know of one in NY City. Fun boat
to sail.a little different than Cuckoo Voodoo!!

Spot primed today with hi-build.we're getting there!

C&C 39 Northeast? Is that what you said? Looks very different than the
C&C39 in the brochure section.

Can you tell me more on the history of this model? Has very nice lines
