If it was on the hard for several years my fuirst guess would be pine
needles and/or small twigs and the leaves etc.  I usually use a garden
hose or a low pressure electric pressure washer FROM THE OUTSIDE IN - to
push the mess back into the cockpit.

its hard to beleive cnc would have made any bad designs, i rather think
that 
something has gone wrong?
