It is probably Fiberglass mat "print-thru".  It is noticeable on my blue 
awlgripped hull.  Surveyor said it was part of the post-mold curing process and 
was not to be worried about.  When I paint the hull again it will go away.

everything was settled, I could see a visible "grid" on the starboard side of 
the hull above the waterline, 3 feet tall and about 6 feet wide.
