Pete,
There are so-o-o-o many options. If you want leverage, you probably want a fine
tune purchase. If you want better control, you probably want end boom sheeting.
If you want to double end the mainsheet so you can operate from either side,
check out the Admiral's Cup setup in the Harken site. Actually You could leave
the traveller on the coachtop, where it is and take the tails to blocks on the
gooseneck, out to the side decks through blocks on deck and back to winches at
the cockpit.

Subject: Stus-List main sheet and traveler improvements

After the race last weekend it’s become more obvious that I need to make some
changes to my mainsail traveler and sheet. The race was a looong, gusty tight
to beam reach that gave the main trimmer fits.

I have cabin top traveler and am thinking of adding a swivel to the traveler
cleats. Also, and this is out there a bit, but has anyone ever double end the
mainsheet? I currently have 6:1 mainsheet running to a winch on the port side.
Other suggestions?

Thanks,
