Don:

A pressure washer will not remove an ablative paint. When our boat is hauled every Fall, the bottom is pressure washed by the yard staff and while it might remove a small amount of the paint, it will not remove it so as the gelcoat is showing.

I have been using Micron CSC for the past 12 years, which is an ablative paint, and no pressure washing has ever removed it. Put Micron 66 on this Spring and would expect the same result.

Would a pressure washer work on a soft ablative paint? What psi would be needed?
