That drain looks a whole lot nicer than the one I paid $40 for at West last
week.  Haven't installed it yet.  Considering returning it now...

I tried to kludge together all the stuff at a hardware store, ugly and
expensive.  Finally found the sink drain solution, by Forespar. 
I'm sure there's one near you.
