Hi Joe, You should post your complete command line. -avrh does not designate a deletion of files, --numeric-ids only designates how to transfer the ids of the owner in terms of user and group, the default is username and group name, otherwise, it will transfer the numeric values of userid and groupid. Still no indication to delte originals. So please post the full command line so we can replicate the problem.
