The problem is likely DMARC. I have enabled DKIM and SPF for my domain, the email for which is hosted by Google. The problem is that the CLUG (and other mailing lists) relay messages on my behalf without properly resigning the messages. Since DMARC is stored in my DNS, the subsequent forwarded messages fail the check (gmail is one of the few email providers who actually checks these headers) by the providers who try to verify the message.
The only real solution is to whitelist my email address until mailing list software is updated and properly configured. Thanks for the heads up though, __ Gustin On Tue, Jan 21, 2014 at 11:01 PM, Ellen Mably <embiol...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Gustin: > > I don't know what's happening with your system, but mine has filed all > your emails to CLUG in the SPAM folder, saying that it couldn't verify . . > . as above. > > Ellen Mably > > > > > On 5 January 2014 15:49, Gustin Johnson <gus...@meganerd.ca> wrote: > >> I have a Lenovo T430 that I bought directly from Lenovo, it has the US >> keyboard layout (like Mark describes).
