I tend to think that there is still a lot of offer in terms of encouraging
people to become users of Linux.  This may sound like a "higher goal" but,
given the central roll of technology to everyone's life and the dominance of
one operating system in the market, it is important to have a forum to
remind us how to explain to others how to adopt different technologies.  In
the world of computers, the market place of ideas is not welcoming to most,
so perhaps that is one of the functions of CLUG.
