My recommendation would be to stay away from Sansa (at least the Clip
anyhow).

I have mentioned this before (just shows how much people listen to me...LOL), but XS Cargo has some media players that will do (depending on what you get) music video & pictures. There is even one that has touch control for the video player. While I can't speak for the companies mentioned some of the specs indicate that they support OGG & in some cases list Linux as a supported OS. I have actually seen the packages & they do have Tux on them, & listed on the package so it should be accurate. Depending on what you want these may fit the bill for you.

The 2 companies they seem to mention are Missil & Trekstor. I haven't found anything for Missil after lots of looking but Trekstor has a site & the products there list Linux support as well from the couple random products I looked at. Referring back to previous umm...err... "Discussions" on the list, when I have seem Linux support listed it usually refers to a 2.6 Kernel as a minimum so your mileage may vary.

The one I am particularly interested in is the 8 GB MP4 player with touch controls. Have some nice additional features in addition to supporting media.

I have included a link to help narrow your search:

Or go to Electronics > MP3Ipod > MP3.
