Actually no.

The space has been unused for about five years now and is not so much a
separate rental space from the existing building but rather, could be with a
little work. I know that they have entertained the idea of letting other
organizations use it before (though not with a non-profit).

My intention was to approach them initially requesting they allow us the use
of the space as a donation to our cause, and perhaps work the discussion
from there. I am not prepared to even look at doing this unless we have
some level of commitment beyond my own time, which no different from anyone
else's is limited. I need to know that there is at least a preliminary
plan.

Hence my latest email. The level of response up to now, has been somewhat
discouraging.

-Andrew.

Hello Andrew.

Have you heard anything about what rent would be like?

For all of you that expressed interest:

I looked at a space the other day that would be about 700 square feet with
its own entrance and minimal work to get it ship shape for us to work with.

I am thinking about putting a proposal forth to the powers that run it. I
need to get some feeling for what people are prepared to commit to.

If we are pursuing the space we need to be prepared to move forward. and I
don't have the resources to do it alone.

There are no bathrooms at this space (that we could use).. But there is a
Tim Hortons about four blocks away. (5 min walk). It's not the perfect
space, and I don't have a green light, but I have reason to believe that
with the right proposal we can get it.
