The difference is that there are some extra packages for media production, and the default app loadout is different. You can install anything that is in the normal Ubuntu repositories. You can for example: sudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktop
You can also convert a standard fiesty install. You just have to add one new source. The details are on their web page.
