I had a quick look at this and it's a watered down version focusing on the "studio" components. For example Open office is installed ....but ONLY the word processor component. The thing I wasn't sure was - does it have everything the regular Ubuntu has? Or is it watered down? Also, I recommend Linux Mint. Built directly on top of Ubuntu, but with a regular release cycle, enhanced n00b tools, and every multimedia plug/Flash/Java you could want :)
