For those sending me personal messages, note that this goes for you too. Jesse, like Kin, has been here for a long time, and has also contributed to this group. He deserves to be treated exactly the same as Kin. I have zero interest in a 14 year old girl "I'm mad at her, so if you're my friend, you won't talk to her either" type argument. I'm not 14, I'm not a girl. I can appreciate Jesse (and give him a tshirt) based on his value to this group, and also let him know that he's out of line for some particular action. That doesn't mean that I don't value his input on this list, it means that he needs to be reprimanded. I've been reprimanded (publicly on this list) when I deserved it (My very first post, if I remember correctly), and I don't think it was done to be malicious. It was done because it was in the best interest of this group. Peer presure to "behave" is quite powerful, and can be used for good. We all know that knocking the President is bad. Rather than pr ivately starting an "I hate Jesse" (Or Kevin) group, lets just publicly straighten out the problem. If I asked aboutusing Fdisk, you'd answer publically and the issue would get resolved. Interpersonal issues in a public forum such as CLUG should be handled in the same way, quickly, factually, and publically.
