I have two applications, one in Java and the other in Basic -- the USB 
works on one but not the other.  I had thought that the PCMCIA card 
worked but it obviously does not work for one of the apps.  I guess I 
had better bring out the scope, maybe the control lines are initialized 
differently in the software.
