hey, Thanks for the help everyone, I am shopping around for a newer Distro, this one was given to me by my computer admin.(redhat 8.0)Can anyone suggest a good, fairly user friendly distro( I would use it mostly for web surfing, mp3 downloads and the like).I am thinking mandrake,Suse or Fedora.
Also, I was speaking with an aquaintance who mentioned the possibility of hardware damage as a result of Linux use, is this something I should worry about?
