if they are that pissed off with people using port 25 - then why dont
they open it selectively - like block 25 and 110 and 80 by default,
but allow the user to go to a web-form and choose to open em up ? kind
of like a customizable firewall ? 99.9995% of the users wouldnt even
know what this meant - for the remaining - even if they ran servers,
the bandwidth wouldnt cause a blip in the total bandwidth as compared
to kazaa or other p2p stuff.

what the heck - they could even advertize this as a feature of the
ADSL connection - even AOL had a huge ad campaign about how AOL
broadband protects you !
