There is a service out there similar to dyndns.org.  It is called no-ip.com
(I think that's the URL).  I have been having excellent luck with them.  I
believe they have a small client that sits on your main box and updates
their DNS servers if your IP changes.  I think it is a windows client and I
have not checked to see if they have a Linux client.  But...I don't think it
would be to hard to use the windows client running through wine or something
like that.
