I was thinking of the IRC meetings, sorry, not the SCRUM meetings (but it also 
applies)
My main concern is that the list is already busy with tons of information. 
Inviting people to informal/unofficial meeting is pretty efficient in 
"inviting" IMHO.
But one more email is no big deal I suppose.
