I prefer Linux for the server side. Lean, fast, great tools, open source. Windows is my general coding environment. Mainly because I still run various Windows-only apps, I'm comfortable with the GUI, I like things to "just work" on my hardware and I prefer to avoid futzing around with settings / drivers. I'd love to switch to Linux, but the hassle-factor has prevented me from adopting Linux in the past. The good news is that my toolchain for Clojure coding is Eclipse+Counterclockwise+Maven, which is totally cross-platform so it doesn't really matter what OS I use. So maybe I will try switching to Linux again sometime soon. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clojure" group.
