What OS? Emacs of course.

More seriously debian (with a lightweight xmonad config), at work and at 
home.

I tried OSX a couple of years back (for about a year), and there were just 
too many annoyances, weird keyboard shortcuts, broken package managers, 
proprietary stuff everywhere, payware (and very often worthless) upgrades 
and I could go on like this for ages... It feels a bit like the real thing 
but just isn't it, so I gave up and went back to linux.
