Well, learning Clisp first will make learning Clojure a lot easier if you're not familiar with LISPs or functional programming. However, Clisp is large enough that you could easily spend more time there than you saved. If you really want to tackle a more established language before Clojure, I'd recommend Scheme instead, partly because Scheme is nice and small, but mostly because it also has some really good books available.
