Sorry for asking this here, but it's about the Clojure IRC room, which
is kind of related to Clojure, being this group's sister help
resource.

I know nothing about IRC, but I've been using the Colloquy application
for Mac OS X to connect to the Clojure IRC room on irc.freenode.net.
It was working fine for a month, until recently—every time I try to
send a message to the room, I get the following error:

Can't send to room "#clojure" on "irc.freenode.net".

Server Details:
Please register with services and use the IDENTIFY command (/msg
nickserv help) to speak in this channel

I don't know if a setting in my client or in the server changed, but
does anyone have any idea how I might get around this? I haven't found
any help on Google, and the room is so convenient for small Clojure
questions.
