Hello Masaru,

I think I am not being able to explain my question. Here is one more try in
perhaps little strange approach:

When I run clamscan/clamdscan on entire file system, why doesn't it use
"find" command to get the list of modified files since last time and
run scan on them? In which cases, "find" would not work?

Thanks in advance,
-Neel.

When I say that the find command does not directly detect changes to
files, I mean that it does not have the ability to monitor changes to
the file system in real time.

About the file command.

For monitoring file changes in real time, tools such as inotifyand
fswatchmay be useful, aren't they?

Best Regards.
