This is _exactly_ like the case of RBL's that send out notice after notice,
and a year or two later change the DNS to return positive always, and then
the SAs complain all their mail is bouncing/rejected/etc...

You have found the perfect analogy...  People complaining about mail systems
breaking because they ignore the warning, and the provider purposefully
do something which "breaks" other's email (or web, or whatever).

So now people can stop searching for analogies and stop saying this
is unprecedented...
