Guys, I do understand that pressure at work can cause reactions that
might be considered disproportionate so I'm not taking any issues with
anyone here. I'd just like to say that I'm very happy with ClamAV.
I'd like to applaud the ClamAV development team on the fine work that
they've done and continue to do, and some of that same applause should
also be sprinkled on the small army of diligent users who provide
valuable feedback to the team and the community. I think I've said
some of that before. I hope it won't hurt if I say it again. :)
Now for some specific feedback:

It would help a lot if announcements like this included
(1) An ESTIMATE of the release date.
(2) The URI where the tarball will be found on the ACTUAL date,
whatever it eventually turns out to be.
I guess we've all figured that out by now. :)

Note that I waited almost two days from Nigel's announcement before
prompting. Perhaps I imagined that 'about to' meant, er, 'about to'
as opposed to, say, 'at some indeterminate time in the far future'.

So that I could give it a spin, of course. :)
I don't think any irreparable harm's been done, but I think greater
clarity would be tend to benefit certain cardio-vascular systems. :)
