The newest version of MailScanner has native clamd support, so if you
upgrade MailScanner, you can switch from clamscan to clamd support,
and your performance should be very fast (faster than clamscan ever
was).

The newest MailScanner, IIRC, interfaces directly to clamd, without
clamdscan. But I'm not 100% sure of that. In any case, it seems to
work well, and is faster than clamscan for sure.

No, you don't need to run clamav-milter, since the new MailScanner has
native support for clamd. You can still use the spf-milter.

1) Upgrade MailScanner if needed.
2) Setup clamd and start it running.
3) Tell MailScanner to use clamd instead of clamav/clamscan.
