It seems to be wrong when you would have realized all the parameters
i gave to the command line you decided to omit in your not very kind RTFM
without really reading my post:

In the last line i wrote:
>>I used the command line:
>>"clamscan -ir --block-encrypted --block-max --detect-broken --unzip
>>--unrar --unarj --unzoo --lha --jar --deb --tar --tgz /home/ftp/"

Does such command line really look like i haven't read the docs at all?

But:
Maybe i don't have the documentation you have or mean? (BTST, sh*t happens)?

But true, what "man" says is not really clear for the user:

       -i, --infected
                     Only print infected files.

       --stdout
Write all messages (except for libclamav output) to the standard
              output (stdout).

       -l FILE, --log=FILE
              Save scan report to FILE.

So what does happens with the messages if i don't give any of the last 2?
I would assume they go to stdout and not to /dev/null.

Of course i don't want to have 3+ Million files listed absoletely needlessly.
so i add "-i"

Why don't i get the "infected files" listed, but only the
infected zip contens?

What's the use of list only the files found in a zip and not
giving the slightest(!) hint, which zip in involed?

And as i saw the (final) "scan report" in my "log file"
all went well as i assumed...

       --stdout
Write all messages (except for libclamav output) to the
                     standard output (stdout).

i interpreted: "Write all messages going usually to stderr to stdout"
As i assume that detecting a virus is no error condition for a virus
scanner it's ok.
Which messages else are meant?
Wher are they going?

What's the meaning of "(except for libclamav output)" does not become
clear. Bus as i don't use "libclamav" shouldn't matter.

So:
Which "log file" should carry the info, which real fiel was infected?

What was written to "stdout" i posted to the list, but does but
contain sufficient information.
