Sorry, it really looks like you are taking about an other 
man page than i have.

I reread the page black parts called "letters" and could not see
any more infos about "log" as i already posted.

My man page footer reads:

Please be more specific.

Maybe you wanted to write something and it is not yet in the
released version or it is -for you- so obvious that you hesitate 
to document such a triviality.
