I posted the av_scanner line to use clamscan instead of clamd. I personally don't use the daemon because it has never seemed ready for production to me. There seem to be more problems posted here with the daemon than any other subject so I just use the command line scanner, which doesn't require a clamd user, sockets, etc (of course).
