 Sorry. I knew I'd lost track of this thread big style :)

 Personally though, I cannot say as I have had a moments trouble with the
daemonised version. I do think a lot of the problems with clamd tend to be
permission based, as a rule. I always compile clam with user/group same as
my filter script.
