I actually use both, and since it hasn't been a resource issue I'm not too worried. The servers in question each scan 100,000+ mails a day and never gets above 1 or 2 on the load.
Basically I still demime *, which drops the .eml as well as all the attachements into the directory.
I've noticed with ScanMail and ScanHTML turned on, 99%+ of the viruses are detected in the .eml file, so the dropped attachments aren't scanned.
Could someone clarify this point?
I have no idea what BCP is on this at this point, as demime + ScanMail may indeed be redundant, but as it doesn't cause problems, I'll leave it until it does, or someone tells me to knock it off :)
