 Upto just, I personally have had no problems with any of the scanning
techniques.

 I've just read the article, and whilst I'm not saying that the author is
biased, not once does he mention that he actually contacted anyone to try
and find out details regarding Clam. He may be right, he may be wrong, but
he seems to have based his article, to a degree, on speculation and
hearsay.
