Pretty slick, eh? It's the default telnet with FreeBSD. Probably a local
hack.

No, it has to be locking on incoming messages. I enabled Debug output to stdout
and this is where it hangs:

It was at the default, but I've lowered it and raised it without change.

It loads the databases OK at least 5 or 6 times before lockup:

Fri Apr 2 18:18:46 2004 -> No stats for Database check - forcing reload
Fri Apr  2 18:18:46 2004 -> Reading databases from /usr/local/share/clamav
Fri Apr  2 18:18:49 2004 -> Database correctly reloaded (20789 viruses)
Fri Apr  2 18:21:29 2004 ->
/var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/chortos.wingnet.net108094808947017668/message.scr:
Worm.SomeFool.P FOUND
Fri Apr  2 18:21:30 2004 ->
/var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/chortos.wingnet.net108094808947017668/orig-chortos.wingnet.net108094808947017668:
 Worm.SomeFool.P FOUND

<locked here>

I'll look into the locking thing. I'm also configuring a debug
version so I can run ktrace on it. More in a bit. I can't go home
until this silly thing is fixed...
