; While I think ClamAV is a great project, and follow it closely, I'd have

We run ClamAV here on Solaris with Sendmail and a milter (our own, not the
one bundled with ClamAV) with no problems at all. 1000s of messages a day,
no apparent memory or fd leaks in clamd and it has only ever died once
(SEGV with 0.66).

We run several virus scanners in sequence and it is rare that a virus gets
past ClamAV to be detected by secondary or tertiary scanner, and then the
Clam virus database team right on the ball with adding a new signature!
