Is there anything i am missing i have looked all over to see what is happening but cant find a solution.
Could you try The official mirrors (configure "DatabaseMirror database.clamav.net" in your clamd.conf/freshclam.conf)?

in mirror.txt i have 4 including all the official ones, it is failing on all of them. i tried to locate freshclam.conf but dont know where on the system that is and i know that freshclam is picking up from the mirror list .

I just updated from database.clamav.net ~10 minutes ago just fine.
