Tomasz, You're right! I finded again and I realized earlier my find was mistakenly for "clamd.conf", so I apologize about the incorrect information. I'm pretty sure I left the defaults in the clamav.conf file: LogFile /var/log/clamd.log LocalSocket /var/run/clamd/clamd.sock MaxDirectoryRecursion 15 User _clamd ScanArchive ArchiveMaxFileSize 10M ArchiveMaxRecursion 5 ArchiveMaxFiles 1000 ClamukoScanOnOpen ClamukoScanOnClose ClamukoScanOnExec ClamukoIncludePath /home ClamukoMaxFileSize 1M ClamukoScanArchive Now that I've tooken a decent look at the clamav.conf file, I'm wondering if I'm starting it correctly: chroot -u "_amavisd" -g "_amavisd" /var/amavisd/ \ /usr/sbin/clamd For starters, I should just change the User to "amavisd" and start it as root, huh? Will it run chroot then? Could this be related to why I"m getting the Segmentation Fault?
