Can you please describe the issues that you currently have with recent
clamAVs? Is the hanging-bug fixed? Any segfaults? I'm as big an open source
fan as the next guy but it's generally a bad idea to take code out of the
developer's emacs buffers and thunk it down into production.

What I really want is this: Is there another Linux user out there who uses a
recent snapshot for a large installation? I want to use the same snapshot on
my system so we can be in the same boat. One of the nice things about
mainline releases is that issuses are identified by everybody running off the
same codebase and patches can be universally applicable.

Thanks;

- Erik
