You can do this manually - do "make install" on i686 and then copy installed
files to i586 (you will find them in /usr/local/bin, /usr/local/sbin, /usr/local/sbin
and /usr/local/share/clamav). You may need to fix a permissions on
/usr/local/share/clamav. Don't forget to run ldconfig. What is your OS ?
Why don't you use a binary package ?
