I'm looking for the same thing as David is, however...
Which version of clamAV do you have? The latest snapshot has the first pre-release of a sendmail milter with it.
A snapshot of a pre-release doesn't instill much confidence to use this in a semi-'production' environment. (I say semi production because it's a mail server for only about 8 people, but it still needs to be reliable).
2)sendmail/amavis/clamav ? a)amavis-ng ? b)amavisd?
I looked at Amavis-ng last night and maybe it was just me, but it sure seemed like it was not even close to ready for prime time. I had to do a lot of manual work, some of which wasn't covered in the docs (such as they were). And in the end the amavis daemon said it was starting up but would then mysteriously go away without any reasons being put into the log files.
So, for me it looks like I'm still searching for something to fit the bill of being a milter that integrates virus checking into sendmail. Any other suggestions?
On a side note, just starting using ClamAV and I really like it. Keep up the good work.
Thanks in advance for any help.
